NOW it is time to fix the delivery. Today, we have a significant step forward in the evolution of Titan Trains, one that makes it easier and faster for customers to purchase and enjoy. The TITAN TRAINS STORE by Robby Mossman.
How the Idea Began
Long time Titan Trains enthusiast Robby Mossman enquired with Titan Trains founder/owner Jim Humphrey and asked a simple question:
"What's your long-term plan for making Titan Trains better and improve delivery?
Jim’s response “IT NEEDS A STORE!”
What began as a casual conversation quickly turned into a discussion about the future of Titan Trains and how to better serve the large-scale railroad enthusiasts by having a store.
For decades, Titan Trains has operated as a build-to-order manufacturer, developing and producing 1:8 scale train products with long lead times.
Robby recognized this as an opportunity for a store with in-stock Titan Trains products.
Introducing the Titan Trains Store
To help meet customer demand and reduce wait times, Robby Mossman is launching the Titan Trains Store, a dedicated retail operation focused on maintaining inventory and making popular products more readily available. Many items will be available for rapid shipment, while other in-stock items can quickly be fitted out with factory options and paint schemes at the Titan Trains Factory in Boones Mill, Virginia.
Under this NEW Store
- Titan Trains, under the continued ownership of Jim Humphrey, will fill his customers back orders and continue to focus on manufacturing, product innovation, and engineering improvements.
- Titan Trains Store, owned and operated by Robby Mossman, will focus on retail operations of NEW SALES, inventory, and maintaining stock of popular locomotives, rolling stock, parts, and accessories ready for fast shipment.
- Both Titan Trains and Titan Trains Store will work together to provide customer support, ensuring customers have access to the product knowledge, technical expertise, and service they need before and after their purchase.
- Titan Trains will continue to fulfill existing Titan Trains customer backorders and process factory and build to orders.
This partnership allows each organization to focus on its strengths while working together to deliver an improved experience for the large-scale railroading community.
Looking Ahead
The Titan Trains Store will have a small initial selection of in-stock Titan Trains products available for immediate shipment. Additional locomotives, railcars, components, and accessories will be added throughout the year.
The vision is simple: make a store out of in-stock large-scale railroading products without compromising the quality and craftsmanship that have made Titan Trains an industry leader.
